Amie Farrell
Amie Farrell teaches on-camera Scene Study at the AdlerImprov Acting Studio in Hollywood. She has an extensive career as a working actor in TV, Film, Commercials, on stage, and as an acting coach across the country.
As an actor, she has worked with Clint Eastwood, Kevin Spacey, Uma Thurman, Whoopi Goldberg, Minnie Driver, Krysten Ritter, and more. Amie’s acting credits include the Academy Award-nominated “American Sniper,” “California Winter,” “A Green Story,” “Dance Off,” “The League,” “Legends,” “Criminal Minds,” “Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23,” and “iCarly.”
She has appeared in dozens of national commercials. Theatrically, she has performed with The Geffen Playhouse, Playwrights Horizons, Milwaukee Rep, Missouri Rep, L.A. Shakespeare Festival, ICT, and more.
Amie has a BFA in acting from The Theater School at DePaul University, graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy, and studied Improvisation with Rob Adler, Ric Murphy (AdlerImprov) and Jonathan Pitts (Second City) in Chicago.
As an acting coach, Amie has guided actors in NYC, Chicago, and L.A. She helps actors transform into storytellers, both on camera and the stage, by inspiring them to find their unique voice, discover freedom through play, and make smart choices that honor the script using specific technical skills. Amie has previously owned her own acting studio, Variant Actors’ Lab. She has served as a Guest Artist at Chapman University and Theater School at DePaul. She also ran the outreach programs for Shenandoah Shakespeare and Wolfpack Theater. She is proud to volunteer her artistic talent with Get Lit and Unusual Suspects.
